Anybody who took college psych remembers the work of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross' 5 stages of death. DABDA. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression & Acceptance when confronted with a terminal illness. Seems here according to the posts on this thread from the forum reich wingers are very much in stage 1...Denial. Here is how I see it panning out:

1. Denial - Deny she is seeking to run for president. Dismissing her PAC and hiring of key staff members

2. Anger - Once she has announced her candidacy, Anger will ensue as the intelligent right wingers will surely fume over her consistent gaffs during the debates and complete lack of any presidential qualities. Making for great SNL and Daily show skits. Tina Fey is drooling already.

3. Bargaining - Once she has thoroughly beaten the likes of Romney, Huckabee, Trump, Pawlenty and Barbour in the polls, the baggers will begin to look for a less polarizing somewhat intelligent VP candidate to offset the complete moron that has won the nomination.

4. Depression - The presidential debates leading up to the 2012 election will be completely one sided. The president, a constitutional attorney, and editor of the Harvard Law Review will school the 1/2 term governor/ EX beauty queen (runner up)/hockey mom/momma grizzly on national TV. Making for even BETTER late night TV. During this period, Companies such as Bayer, Pfizer, Astra-Zenneca report record profits as prescriptions for anti-depressants such as Zoloft, Cymbalta, Prozac and Paxil overwhelm pharmacists. During this time, Narcotic abuse among Republicans shoots to an all time high in attempts to ease the pain.

5. Acceptance - Soundly trounced in the Nov election by as much as 20 points, Sarah Palin returns back to Alaska, her republican lemmings following single file behind her. The lemmings will continue to shower her with praise and money because they are stupid, she will continue to believe she has a chance in 2016......because she is stupid. And the republicans begin to look towards Sarah in 2016 again as their nominee.....Where she will face Hillary Clinton.

Palin will have my vote. I think it will take a woman president to put fear in the hearts of the Islamic extremists. They will have the US military directed by someone who could potentially have PMS, a bad day, and Islam doesn't want to mess with a Pres with PMS!

Besides, we gave Obama his shot, now how about a woman? We will come full circle when we finally elect an American Indian as President. Now that would be progressive!!
