As long as the suspect was using his car as a deadly weapon (which I think he was), the police have the right to fire. The question is, was he using it to try to harm an officer, or just to run away? Tough one.

I think the cops had every right to stop that fool by any means neccessary, the suspect was driving someone else's car and risking any man, woman, or child's life that may have been on the road that night. Total disregard for anyone other than himself. Glad he's through stealing things myself.
Sad thing is that the cop will probably get sued by Momma'n dem.
