    BET Weight Estimate

    Ok - so our crew has been debating the weight of this fish. 63" Curved fork Length. We did not take a girth. Our estimates range from low to high 100s. One data point we have - a single bottom loin weighed 23 lbs.

    Congradulations on the eyeball Seth. We caught a 67" Bluefin on Fathers Day weekend and we estimated its weight in the 190-210 pound range. So far most who have seen the pictures of my fish agree. I would say that your fish was all of 175 or more.

    i know it is a different species but we got a 145lb allison last year that was not as big as that.. i would say 190 or so!!

    Nice fish is all i got to say man!! CONGRATS!!

    That fish looks like every bit of 150-175, no matter what its a nice fish.

    We caught a 62" BFT a few weeks ago that weighed 155#. Yours looks similar.
