best state for toggin???

i heard virginia was the best place for big tog. anyone have any input on this? id like to make a trip to someplace to break my record of 18 pounds. any help would be great.

Lot's of tog in Va. but also lots of competition. on the eastern shore of Va. there is some really good toggin but not alot of info for those who are'nt already in. I met an old salty captain who ran a charter boat out of VA. in the 50's and 60's. He hd so many picks of 20# tog I could'nt believe it. He even personally held the world record twice. He had some spots noone knew about and he had no problem bringing in monsters every trip out. Unfortunately he passed away about 5 years ago and prolly took alot of his knowledge with him. At the time I met him I ws too stupid to ask the right questions.

yeah i kinda thought that was the place to be. think ill try to find some local knowladge and go from there. if anyone can help, please do.
