Best Flu Remedy

I have been hit with this flu bug for the 3rd time since the week before Christmas. My ribs hurt from coughing so much, fever is between 100-102, my nose is running like the mighty mississippi and my throat feels like sandpaper. My doc has me on so many meds im high 24/7 (*******). Over the past 2 days I have taken more drugs then a Kensington crack whore. Nothing is working. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Andy, I'm fighting it as well but not as bad as you. The cough is hanging around for the third week now. Codine is some wonderful stuff isn't it?

Go get a shot of pennicillin. I hope I spelled it right. I had the flu a couple of years ago and it worked. If not make you a homemade tonic. The tonic will make you sweat that stuff right out of you. I can give you my step father's tonic recipe if you want to try it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, you will have to hold your nose while drinking it.

stay in bed!!! I get one cold every couple years and when I do I break out the electric blanket, nyquil and lots of juice turn up the blankey to where your sweaty and drink lots of fluids between sweating and pissin it should run its course in a couple days, I know for me the hard part is just to slow down, feel for you as I just had my by anual cold but it only lasted a week and sucked for 3 days!!!PEACE

I feel for you friend. But Fastwater is right, time is the only thing that will get rid of the bug in your body. Rest , liquids, and sweat.
