The BEST DAY of my Life!!!

Okay so I am getting ready for my short ride to Pensacola to do some hunting for Kenny.. when the phone rings...


I answer and on the other end is a good friend and he says... "Hey Little Surfergirl You wanna go to the concert tonight?"


I had a hard time answering because this well composed girl almost passed out!
So I get the proper phone number for my "connection" for the concert.. My friend Melinda and I make the drive in record time ..

And about 30 min later we meet our connection with the tickets... to our surprise they were in an envelope with two VIP passes along with the tickets.. we were the two happiest girls on the planet...we are hanging out at the car waiting for time to pass so we can see "our" man..
When our new friend comes back to check on us .. he hung out a while and drank some wine and had a snack with us... then he told Mel and I that he could get us into the "pit"... well.. we both almost fainted ...

So as the time grew nearer and after all that wine I had to go to the girlie's room.. so we get personally escorted through the BACK way to the bathrooms.. yeah that's right we had to walk right by Kenny Chesney's bus!
I remained calm.. but Melinda however almost passed out

We did our normal things that girls do in the bathroom and head back to the car.. on the way we run into more of the band members... wooo hooo it was Surf's lucky day.. oh it is getting better and better by the minute...


OkAY .. it is finally show time.. the first act to come out was Surgarland.. if you are a country fan that group really, really rocks.. I was hooked after last night... they did a fantastic job!
Then the cutie Derks Bently came on .. he rocked us as well..

THEN my MAAAAN was up.. OMG.. he looked great!!
He rocked by singing songs from ALL of his albums...Uncle Kracker made a surprise appearance last night about mid way through Kenny's set.. That was great.. I like Kracker and his songs.. he rocks too !!



I made eye contact with Kenny a BUNCH of times and saw his eyes sparkle when he got a good look at the surfergirl.. ... I was dancing a singing and having a great time.. and I can tell you MY MAN IS certainly NOT gay.. and I will have to leave it at that ... you will just have to take the Surf's word on this.. ... I couldn't take pictures of that part..
I also got to meet the rest of his band and crew.. what a great group of guys.. made Melinda and I feel like a part of the band.. it was great... I just cannot believe everything that happened last night ... it was a dream come true....

I am going to post some great pictures today of the concert as soon as I can get them into my computer... so I can share

I was asked for a KeyLime Pie at the concert by a couple of the people!
I should have taken a few with me.. they were salavating when they were talking about them.
I will know next time!
