    REEL WAKE

    I'll add something here....

IF you spool power pro onto a reel...regardless of spinner or conventional...DO NOT TRY TO GET IT PACKED ON TIGHT BY GRIPPING IT WITH A PIECE OF LEATHER OR SOME SORT OF GLOVE. I cringe when I see guys in tackle shops putting it on this way. I realize they are trying to pack it on tight but nothing could be worse for the line short of running it across an open flame. It ruins it. Furthermore, I would venture to say many people experience problems with it as a direct result of the above mentioned atrocity.
The best way to pack it on tight is to let it out behind a moving boat and crank it in. If you have to... put a barrel swivel on it for more drag. A weight is not needed if the boat is moving at a reasonable speed.

That's weird, I've never seen anyone put the line on that way.

I could see how it would damage the line though.
