    Bench Grinder

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about bench grinders?

I am looking for a mid-level, long lasting bench grinder to polish gun barrels and gun parts, and especially knives to a mirror shine. I tried to use a Dremel with jewelers rouge and felt disk, but I get swirl marks and clouds....(my fault?)

I have been looking at various sources and it seems like they sell them from $25 to $300 bucks...any suggestions, brands, HP/size minimums or used ones out there please let me know...

I've had pretty good success with buffing equipment from Caswell Plating... http://www.caswellplating.com/

They have all of the supplies you will need - buffing wheels, compound, etc.

I've used a few cheap bench grinder/buffers, and you'll spend a lot more time and effort with the cheap crap...
