I for one hate yellow jackets. Every year I get 4 or five nests in my yard or a neighbors yard. I usually end up being the one to get rid of them. I sit a milk crate next to the hole and when it gets dark i carry a brick,pump sprayer with oil and gas and a beer. I sit next to the hole and shoot the bees as they enter the hole(brick is placed over small second hole) About dark all the bees have returned to the nest so i stick the sprayer wand in the hole and fill it up then i light it up what left over bees that go to the hole get burned in the fire. The beer is pain killer for the inevidible sting.
