BC Fly Fishing....

Hello all...

Let me start by saying that this is the first out of area forum that i have been involved in and its great. Its cool to learn and here about other areas of North America to fish!! Fly fishing is my "lure" so to speak, so what do you have to offer in the area?? maybe its a place we can capture on camera one day? I am all about traveling to other regions to "Fish and Film". This year in BC our Salmon numbers seem to be down a little we were out yesterday, and fished a local river and managed only a few on the fly, they were in the 20 lb range so it was still a lot of fun. I think our next trip will be for Sturgeon!! thats cool, fish up to 12ft long caught in 10-20 ft of water!!(not on the Fly) ..... Take care all!

Man if you get out for sturgeon definitely post some picutures up- those things always look like throw backs to the dinosaur days to me. By the way- what do they fight like?

They all run and jump a few times! I've had 9ft fish clear the water 3 times!! Its cool to hook them in 10 ft of water, you can see a lot of the battle!!
