No big deal bro !!! take it off and its gone................
I had melanoma, now that shit is scary !!!!! its the fastest progressing cancer their is. I had it on my leg but got lucky !! For some reason I decided to go to the dermatologist for a check and it was caught. I had it on my calf and was removed. The surgeon took a huge section of skin to make sure the boarders were all clear. I now go every 6 months for checks. Weird thing is most of the time you get a melenoma its in an area where the sun dosnt hit.... Surgeon told me [ as you know ] wear sun block whenever in the sun.
Again --- Basal cell ----------- remove it and forget about it....
    But get checked regularly !!!!!!!!!!!!

IF you you had anything but a extremely early skin cancer yo might want to see a dermatologist that is certified in Mhoes surgery. They do it all right there. The do the pathology to make sure it all gone while you are right there. There trained in dermatology, pathplogy and usually plastic surgery.

Been ther done that. several times in cluding a insitu (very early melanoma). I go two times a year. I've been doing treatmen ts for actinic keratosis (sun damage) since I was 22 and I'm 68 now

    Take fast action

Like BigEye stated. My wife had it on the bridge of her nose. They went first with a cream that basically ate the skin off her nose and she wears glasses so at the end of the treatment session the nose pads had torn holes into her nose.

she's OK now and never without a big floppy hat and block . Her next stage would have been surgery with a skin graf...not exactly what anyone ever wants

Fast action then agressive mean of avoidance

Wish you the best and a speedy recovery

    Skin Cancer

Basal cell carcinoma is generally slow growing and not prone to spread to distant areas.

    Simple excision is curative.

However Melanoma is highly malignant. All pigmented skin lesions should be watched. An increase in size, bleeding, or any change in appearance is an indication to seek advice.

It is difficult to avoid sunlight.
