    Avet Reels??

I need some feed back on these reels. I know alot of guys love them. I want to replace all 5 of my Torium 30's reels didn't hold up 1 season. Used them for King fishing. I want to get some for bottom fishing as well so I can hand crank instead of using the electric reels on the charters. Thanks Ken

Get them in the purple color! They look and perform amazing. The HX spooled with 80lb braid will beat up 100lb tuna

IM FROM CT BUT WORKED A FEW MONTHS EARLY THIS WINTER IN ISLMORADA. I BROUGHT DOWN MY AVET MX. I SHOWED IT TO THE CAPT I WAS WOKING FOR. HE NEVER SEEN ONE BEFORE HE SAID IT LOOKED TO SMALL AND THE DRAG WOULD BE TOO WEAK BUT I TALKED HIM INTO TRYING OUT ON THE KINGS. WELL THREE DAYS LATER HE HAD A SET OF 4 OF THEM ON THE BOAT. SO I WOULD SAY THE AVET WOULD GET THE JOB DONE FOR SMOKER KINGS.

AFTER FISHING AVET I WOULD NEVER USE PEEN OR SHAMONO AGAIN AND FOR HALF THE PRICE OF A ACCURATE, THE AVET IS THE BEST REAL GOING.I HAVE FISHED AVET AND ACCURATE SIDE BY SIDE AND IN MY MIND IT IS A BETTER REAL. I HAVE FISHED MY MX AROUND 150 DAYS THIS PAST YEAR AN IT LOOKS AND FEELS THE WAY IT DID OUT OF THE BOX. GO AVET AND YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG.

I've switched all my conventional reels to Avet's, both inshore and offshore. I've fished most reels out there either on my boat or others. Avet gives me the best bang for my buck, and have required little maintenance compared to some other brands I have owned. We used 30's offshore and whipped 80lb tuna to the boat. Going to pick up some JX and HX reels for jigging this season. The HX might be a nice reel for your use, match it with braid or hollowcore to increase line capacity and it will be great.

    Dude...

LX Narrow's will be great for kingfishing IMO

The LX or HX 2 speed with braid for the bottom critters...Theres a guy down mexico way that bested a 200+ YFT on a JX-2speed...

    Good luck..

    Curtis
