There's a lot of used to be's in boating these days. You used to be able to catch tuna on the troll of of Cape May as well. Cutting corners is the new norm in boating. I don't know why anyone would buy a new boat these days. Guys are bleeding money right know with there boat loans.
Wow now that is BS. I would love to see what they define as "commercial" purpose. If that's to be considered "chartering" that will probably get shot to hell under COLREGS. As a vessel operating under "commercial fishing" is given right of way.
The fishing tournament thing is just pure crap. This is going to be the nail in the coffin for Bertram. It's a damn shame. This is all a factor of the economy. Profit margins are so thin that production boat companies are forced to cut the cahonies of their clients off. This is just ridiculous.
