Hey everyone, I am still trying to fill out my trip to Guatemala in february.The trip is to BuenaVista Sportfishing,and for anyone Who has'nt heard or been apart of,the fishing is second to none.In addition the owners are extremely wonderful people and do everything possible to make sure a grand time is had by all.This past feb we caught around 100 sails and 6 roosters in 3 days,it was phenominal!!! The trip includes almost all expenses ,3 days fishing(3 guys to a boat),all meals(they have an excellent staff),and transportation to and from the lodge.Aside from the great time you will have cranking on stud sails in Guatemala,you will almost certainly get very comfortable with the use of circle hooks on billfish,as the crews will let you get involved and encourage you to hook your fish.I dont have nearly enough time to get into all the details and highlights of the trip on here,if anyone is interested please get in touch with me either by pm or at captainaaronrogers@yahoo.com.Trust me guys this one is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

You are right about the fishing. I fished out of Puerto Xtapa(San Jose) a couple of years ago and we caought 63 sails in 3 days. The woman that handled the boats apoligized for it being so slow. By far the best sail fishing in the world
