Anyone live in the Wrightsville Beach area?

my parents are on the road looking for an area where they would like to relocate. just wondering any areas down there they should check out.


any help would be appreciated, they are actually down there for a week. they got there today 10/4, and the place they are looking at seems like something they are not interested in.

give me some ideas i can relay for them.

Like Lee said give us some more info on what they are looking for and we may be some help. I have 2 new construction homes for sale in a golf / water community just nort of there. PM me if you want any more info on those. They may want to look North (Hampstead - Tposail) or South (Southport area) both are growing fast and have a LOT of retirees moving in.

Marty, I'm also interested in that area and could see myself down there one day. Why would you recommend The Atlantic Beach area over something like Top Sail or even Wrightsville Beach?
Are the home values stronger a bit north? Crime? Traffic? More retirees?
Would love to hear you oppinion or others who live there.

Go to Atlantic Beach- the fishing is much better. or go toward the Brunswick County beaches like Holden, Ocean Isle, or Sunset they are really nice and growing fast. Wrightsville beach is full of 17-24yr old trust fund brats in their Regulators and Whalers wearing their pink Izod's telling everyone how many millions mommy and daddy are worth. The women are bleach blonde and silicone driving around in their beamers living at subdivision that should be called Landfill instead of Landfall. I lived there for 2 years. it sucks.

we are trying to get a place there too. We were all settled in at waterford and you cant keep boats there so we backed out. Very nice new neighborhood. gated community.
