    Strange request.....

Personally, with the $$ we're talking here, it might be worthwhile to approach owners who have rigs on the market. I don't think the market is red-hot, they're paying maint. and storage costs, and their rigs ain't gettin' no more valuable sittin' there. Find right boat, right owner,--who knows.

Alternately, find right boat, right price, right banker. Put the rig in operation, and immediately back on the market (generally easier to sell a rig when it's in the water.) Start with a "fair market price"-significantly more than you paid, and bring the price down as the season wears on. (This strategy also provides you with incentive to keep rig in "top notch" condition.) I've heard many stories of people who bought a rig at the "right price," used it a season or two, then turned it over, ultimately paying only the operating costs. Better know what you're doing up front, though. The learning curve can get expensive quickly in this game.

    Good Luck,
