The sad state of affairs is a simple one... you (media, etc) call this thing going on in Iraq a war (so is Sean Hannity, and that drives me nuts too) It's not a war. The koolaide krowd on the left wants to call this a war at all costs, but then won't provide the support or let the guys & girls of our ARMED FORCES do what they do best; that is KICK SOME ASS! The DC crowd sends our ARMED FORCES in to a deal which the UN should have taken care of long ago...and if everyone wants to keep our ARMED FORCES playing a Public Relations roll, it isn't going to get better. I say, if you are in a fight...fight to win. period. Hit hard, hit fast...hit first and hit last!

Let our "politicans" do their "political" thing AFTER our ARMED FORCES do what they are trained to do. Our political "leaders" have it too easy, when they actually have to make the decisions regarding ACTUAL ISSUES regarding our safety, economy & future, where are they??? they bicker back and forth, let out hot air, and nothing gets done...but bring up steriods in baseball and you get action...bring up Terry Schivo and the extention cord and you get action...gay marriage, action...minimum wage, action. Bombing and threats against US citizens...a bunch of presstime for hotair. I say KICK ASS and leave the scraps in the middle east for these DC clowns to piece together and "Make Peace"... (since they seem to think "talking" at peace confrences work) that is what we pay these clowns for, so let them clean up the "political" thing after we stomped a mudhole in that $hithole middle east.

This mess wouldn't last but a day or two...and it just might make those other whack job leaders of other screwed-up countries and "terror" groups to think twice before screwing around with us.

I forgot the No More Katrina Storm Plan.

Now I know why I feel good after the elections. I'm going to be able to sleep sooooo much better at nights knowing these dedicated politicians are thinking of us and our welfare.

We are always somewhere in the world doing things. That doesn't mean we're at 'war'. The COLE...we weren't doing anything...just sitting there. Somalia...no war for us. Even today we're striking Somalia...no one is calling that a war except to say it is 'a war on terror'.

Clinton did everything he could to stay out of conflict. I bet he shit himself the day they told him the COLE was hit. Al-Quieta gained alot of confidence during the Clinton administration. They were out doing their thing and learning that the US wasn't going to do much to retalliate. Then along came 9/11. Say what you want, but our current President has made believers out of Al-Quieta. Not to say they aren't still up to their dirty work, but at least we have finally taken a stand and drawn that preverbial line in the sand.

You hit the nail on the head. I can't for the life of me understand why 58% of americans hate Bush. Clinton and the Dems are directly responsible for 911. The destroyed our intelligence gathering capability and our military over 8 years. The NSA the CIA and the rest were crippled! It has taken "George W" 6 years to rebuild what they destroyed.
