    Great choice on the power! We just bought a 27 ocean master with a steyr in it. 8 gallons/hr at 32!

    What does it sound like?LOud turbo?Good low end torque?

    it is VERY quiet. The only draw back is it takes about 45 seconds to plane because there is no supercharger on it. But once that turbo kicks in you are off to the races! We have it hooked to a mercruiser outdrive with dual props.
    Ours is a 2004 engine, I hear the new ones have better low end acceleration.

    our engine is under the leaning post.

    I will have my steyr in about a month.I fixed the gas engine that is in it now.I'm going to use it for roe season before i fix it up.I'm getting the 250h.p. inline 6 steyr.
