Yeah, the bears always come into town this time of year to raid everyone's fruit trees, and whatever else they can find.
It's been a while since I seen one that size. He had to be at least 300lbs or more.........but it was likely a she.

man we went most of the season with just the blacks and browns but in one day we saw/encountered 5 grizzlies.... a mum and two cubs on the block that shut us down for the day and two more big guys right outside our camp eating berries when we were driving back in ....talk about being scared to fall asleep that night in your tent wow

we had one guy named winnie the pooh who kept coming back to camp on a regular basis

Looks like kind of a thin bear compared to the pan faced ole sow that was in my yard, but if you have seen grizz, then you know what a big bear looks like.

Man thanks for posting that! I miss climbing and clearing ground. 12 years of it and man the saw dust is still in my veins.

yea i had to close a call on a helicopter block last season. got cut off from the landing site at the end of the day walkin to meet the rest of the crew. being by yourself and meeting a pissed of bear is never fun. thank goodness the heli was right around the corner and swooped down and let me grab on to the skid pad or else i might have been a goner.
no he wasn't a big bear thats why we called him winne the pooh he was more a nuisance at this one camp we spent a while at
