Best Catch: 18 lb.Brown on fly: 6x tippet, 106 lb.Atl.Sail: Ft.Laud, 888 lb. Mako Cozumel, 950+ Blues St.T
Occupation: If I can't make u a better angler or mate...I'll eat my hat!...scared to learn?!?
What boat were you on then...I may have been there too...were you @ American Y. Harbour? or Saphire or....? I don't remember which was my first year there...it may have been 1984 though....46 bertram Bootlegger. OB was there along with Joe on that big (at the time) Hatteras...he'd circle the anchored out sailboat fleet @ half throttle every morning and rock the raggers good.....had my shoes stolen @ the on deck showers one morning from the rubber boat invaders off the sailboats.....they'd steal all the toilet paper too!
I hired a newbie to help us out and he'd get seasick @ the riggin' table hearin the flag ripple or snap in the 20-30kt winds....nowadays 15 knots and it's considered a rough day....back then, heck, 15 and we weren't wet all day workin in your board shorts waiting on the down sea troll to dry out.
