Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking at these pics are horrible. While in high school my uncle was in a horible car accident and these pics dont compare to what he looked like. Just horrible !!!!!!!!!!!

I would hate to be in that condition.

Hopefully he didn't lose that eye. I wonder if he hooked himself or if someone else hooked him. If someone else hooked him thank god they didn't finish the cast!!

Some that have fished with me laugh about my oversized Flying Fishermens or Costas... Theres a reason... And LL you nailed part of it right there. If you look at my glasses you'll see some battle scars. Yest they can and do get doinked by flying hooks etc on a regular enough basis to warrant wearing them for just that. Hunting they have blocked too many branches and briar thorns to count...

When I was a kid, I was fishing with my old man in the Bahamas for bonefish. It was flat calm and a white sandy bottom. While bright I didn't think too much of it. Later that day I took a shower and it started getting dark. Problem was though... It was only getting dark for me . I looked toward a light bulb and instead of it being bright I could only see the filament... My eyes had been cooked. I got lucky and no permanent damage but since that day I don't go outside without em!
