All joking aside I dont care what color you are but you are alot thicker skinned than I am because if I had to listen to the the trash some talked during Bluefin about me I would have handled it different than you. I think my all time favorite someone was giving you heck a few years ago & your response to him was he was just ashamed because yours was bigger than his & then it was total silence!

I have to admit......that was funny. Bluefin season seems to bring the bad out of a lot of people. That radio talk can get down right nasty at times.

well i was studying for my last final here at ECU and i took my usual SF.com break and found this thread. I was good friends with mark chambers and he happend to be black and one of the best mates I know of. He mated in manteo and on the water front in morehead. He was on the bill collector for a good while and then he went off to school. The last I heard of him he was on a boat in hawaii. His dad was also an excellent mate that worked around manteo. As far as that color thing that dont mean squat "IF YOUR GOOD, YOUR GOOD."

I fish on a regular basis with a very good Black fishermen in NE, Donny Taylor who live in Gloucester, Ma and currently owns and runs three boats, A 28 Hydra Sport he keeps in Key West, A 33' Intrepid at his house on the water in Gloucester and his newest boat a 37' Intrepid (Loan Shark) he keeps at his place in CT, we fish this boat in the Oak Bluffs Monster Shark. Donny loves to fish and when he's not making money he fishes, loves to talk about it and do it.
I also became very good friends with a Black fishermen in Boston when I belonged to a club on the harbor, this man John loved to fish for Cod and we took some very memorable trips off-shore together in Nov and Dec on my 26' Hydra Sports in some pretty snotty conditions jigging up big Cod in conditions much better for skiing then fishing, unfortunately he was stricken down by cancer much too young 2 years ago, damm shame.
