When did the advertisements move into the middle of pages and threadsI don't know how others feel but it is pretty damn annoying. Otherwise keep up the good work

Yeah, I understand where you are coming from... but hosting this much content is 'spensive (e.g. the pictures and videos that everyone LOVES) someone's gotta pay for it... and if that means stepping it up in terms of prime advertising real estate... well then so be it.
Online advertising pulls in ALOT of dough.
Doesn't bother me. I know that is what pays the bills for this great site.
I'm good with it too. Got to pay the bills and also makes it easier to see how SFC and it's advertisers can get support
I am tickled for Admin to see them. Keep the lights on please.

We could pay a membership fee, or the ads can pop in between the posts - you make the call...
I actually like the ads - many of them are from suppliers that I regularly purchase from!
I understand it pays the bills, but wouldn't advertizers still pay with them being at the top of the page and not in the middle of everything. Miami boat show or Jersey cape for instance are going to pay for advertizing here regardless of ad location bc their target consumers are all part of this site. Just seems tacky to me.
not tacky.. just the way it works man.. and they obviously work because you noticed them. lol
i would not get bent about it.. it will never change.. and i also like it alot because as i sit here and type this on this thread i see the stalker outfitters banner above and i get to see if there is anything i could use come across the banner like some new rods, reels, wind-ons or maybe one of those dredges that keeps swimming past my damn face!! lol
I have no problem with the advertising, and I don't mind when they're between posts in the threads. But it sometimes throws me off when I look at the forum indexes, because I read them from bottom to top (oldest first). When I hit the ad I sometimes miss the last couple of threads because I'm used to the ad being at the top. Now there may be three or four threads above it and I've already hit the "back" button.
Somehow I will adjust to this brave new world.![]()
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.
