No milk, no cream....clear broth.

White chowder has milk or cream (varying "thicknesses")....
And red chowder......well, we'll leave that to the "New Yorkas"
Yuck.....
Gotta help the Mrs. quick with dinner......be back in a bit LOL![]()

As JD stated he could of brought some down with him. I took Capt. Mike who is with JD clamming two hrs. before leaving on tour #2. There is nothing like fresh clam. Had steamers for the night as well as getting some hard clams on Sunday and making 47 stuffers on monday night.
Man I love me some stuffed clams!!

Stuffies are the balls!
We'll dive for Quags near our moorings out in front of my father's house and get some real COWhogs, which actually make great stuffies......the meat AND the shells!
I used to free dive for quags a lot, and Conch, which I'd give bags of to my uncle, who's make snail salad out of them and send a big jar home......
damn I'm getting hungry again LOL.....![]()
As winter sets in and the boat ends up on land clamming takes over for my fix. As long as the harbour is not completely iced over I will go all winter. Nothing like a party in winter time showing up with fresh clams.
Hey D.....
These are the guys I recommend....just checked and they do Nationwide Airfreight.....we go here all the time to eat....great place to sit, have a few drinks, eat, and watch everyone coming in the channel.....
This is where I launch from most of the summer, and go right by (the building in the pic).

Capt D,
Call Ferry Wharf Seafood in Galilee RI. Ask for Tim or Leah and tell them I referred you. They will pack and ship and charge your credit card. They alsways have fresh steamers.
