NOW AS PROMISED! I NEED YOUR HELP TO LOCATE 6 VETERANS FROM DESERT STORM OR THE CURRENT CONFLICT.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK...SHOULD THEY BE WOUNDED IN COMBAT! OR HAVE SERVED IN THE WAR? I WILL NEED ALOT OF HELP WITH THIS ONE!

Congrats Key-Lime! You made the goal. It got to the point that my nephew joined the Navy and just graduated from boot-camp and is know in school. I was gonna have him post his 3 -Months just to contribute!
As far as your question, let's go a diffrent route.... Why don't you contact the V.A. and make it a trip for kids who's Fathers or Mothers died in combat, along with wounded veterans from the conflict? Show them that ya care and life can continue?? Just a thought. Congrats again, Good Work!

My cousin has just moved to Newark after finishing recruiter school. He served 2 tours in the current conflict, one with the inital invasion and then in Bagdhad with the 82nd airborne. He was blown up once in a hum-Vee and then shot point blank in the chest while entering a building. Luckily his batle armor stopped the bullet and he put two hot ones in the dudes chest before hitting the ground. Believe it or not what put him out of active duty was crushed foot bones from repeated jumping. I asked him if he was interested and he said yes. Oh he's also got the hardware to go with the stories.

I agree with the kids idea. Being a Desert Storm Vet myself Tom if you can take at least one kid to go with with you that would be awesome. And I am also willing to donate $100 to help offset your cost. And to everyone who is interested KLP took me out on my first offshore trip. Just do not let him talk you into cleaning the boat. LOL Tom is a great person to meet and willing to show you how things are set up.
