50 VSW or 6/0 Senator HLW

Need advice. I have been going back and forth for a few months now on which to get. I am going to be purchasing two new reels in the near future. They will either be Penn 50 VSW's or Penn 6/0 HLW senators. I know that's quite a difference but I need justification. Here is my situation.

I will probably only offshore fish 4 to 5 times a year. Most of my fishing is near shore or in the Cheasapeake Bay. The 6/0 would benefit me more for the type of fishing I do and also handle most tuna, wahoo, dolphin, and possibly a marlin. The 50 VSW, I could mostly only use for offshore fishing, but I do like the fact that I could have gold on my boat.

Also I have nothing big like the 50VSW. I have a Penn 4/0 and 6/0 narrow spool and three TLD 25's as my current "big gear". So 50 VSW's or 6/0 HLW's?

What would ya'll get given the above situation?

Take a look at the TLD 50W less then a VSW but a little more then the 6/0. I use them for Swords and tuna with no problems. Only been spooled once by a big Sword.

Man what a difference. I would say go for gold if you have the money. Will last ya forever and I have an idea you are going to hear this from many more. Go with the Shimano's.

I would go Shimano but I'm getting a pretty sweet deal on the Penn products. Never even gave the 30 VSW a thought. Might have to revisit that.

I would also look at the Penn 50 TW as well.
