My Brother works on a 47' Motor life boat at the East end of the Cape Cod Canal. He has never gone up against that sort of crap but he says that those boats can go up against anything the ocean throws at them. Pretty amazing to that most of the time the guys and gals running the boats are tethered to the OPEN bridge.

damn, i saw a discovery channel special when they were working on a newer version that righted itself faster. cool stuff. they dropped it in the water upside down and it flew back up! makes you feel good about those that are out there to help you out if something goes wrong..
