So I moved to Cal last year after 40+ years in Boston and poeple constantly keep asking me why??

That's why The guys out here whine when it goes below 50 out here, they have no idea what cold is..

For a reference I told them take todays weather 70 yesterday and subtract 90 degrees...Hard to comprehend but there you are -20 out,,,, ouch!

How is eveyone doing in NE, nose hairs frozen and you can't even feel your face, shit, I feel for you, Florida time, right?

I live in NH and I was thinking of going ice fishing today. The high was 7 and it was blowing 20+. Screw that. Maybe if we had enough ice to bing the truck out. I couldn't have gone if I wanted to anyway, but that's another thread.

Watching Fox News this morning and they said the coldest place in the US is Mt. Washington in NH. 75 mph winds which brings the wind chill to 50 below!!!! NO THANK YOU!!!

Has the highest recorded wind speed on record and is brutally cold. I went to prep school in Maine, (coldest winter of my life) no such things as a snow day up there and college in NH so I feel I did my time in NE It's a great place to live and some great weather days but too many bad ones

I went ice fishing today. It was supposed to be in the high 20s. The high was 14. The gallon of chocolate milk froze so I didn't have anything to drink for 8 hours. Thank God I had the grill with me. Had me some nice hot dogs and Hostess Cupcakes.
