    10,000 Lost At Sea!

    Since it's beginning over 10,000 Gloucester fishermen have gone down to the sea in ships. A very emotional and solemn service was held this weekend to remember those lost.

    I stop in and spend the night coming back from Nova Scotia last year , and it was worth it !!!!! Saw where they filmed the " Perfect Storm " and all the Maritime Museums !

    did you make it to the crows nest ??? Neat place. That bronze statue of the "man at the wheel" is a solom place to me. Some of the names are ones I've known.

    Most view the statue as a work of art. But when one attends the Memorial Service it's much more than that. For most families of lost fishermen at sea it's a gravestone.
