    Thumbs up 08' Cape May Marlin & Tuna Club Video

    What a year we had! Covert mission breaks 100 billfish, Jim Miner captures a grand slam and Sandy McCarthy earns angler and female angler of the year. The ladies of the covert mission lit up the canyons, and club boats placed in the money in several majors. Our kids day tournament and ARC special kids fishing days were once again a big success. We enjoyed great competition in Ocean City, NJ with a Covert Mission win and in Ocean City, MD with a record turn out and a team win at the Challenge Cup . There are many more great stories of 08 and through it all club members captured thousands of great moments on film, some of which I've baked into the attached video.

    I dropped the quality a bit from the DVD then broke this into two sections since the files are huge. You'll still need a speedy connection. The first covers club events, kids fishing and the ARC fishing day. The second is all about the fishing. Give it a minute to load then...

    Sterling: Video looks great!!! Nice to be able to go back and watch it since I didn't get to see the whole thing @ the banquet. You did an awesome job and I'd have to say that a good time was had by all!

    Sweet Caroline, did you figure out where that shot was taken?

    LadyAngler, The pictures that you and Chuck took in the canyons and at the Off The Hook scales made up a big part of that video. Your contributions to the club, in many fashions, have been a big part of making it better each year.

    We've got a solid field of competitive boats and fishermen, and I'm looking forward to 09. Only 6 months until our next club off-shore tournament!

    Stay warm and keep us posted on Panama - sounds awesome!

    The picture of the boat was taken by Mary at the inlet waiting for Hinch's shark tournament to start. The banquet was a blast and the food was awsome. I am really looking forward to 2009, hoping to join in on a couple more tournaments.
