After doing a fluke trip yesterday I figured i'd give it a go inside... Tried the river... Wrong tide I guess... Then went to three different beaches. I risked going blind a couple of them as the sand sows were out in force... Very little eye candy to offset the beached manatees of Monmouth County...

Cast after cast with squid, spearing, clams, metal and poppers was met with nothing but water at the other end... There were loads of swimmers today but it would be wrong to blame them for the lack of action. Water was warm, clear, with plenty of bait but no fish... Oh well... Gotta report the bad with the good...

Thanks for reminding me of one of the advantages of being blind! No revolting distractions! LOL Hope you didn't get too frustrate and enjoyed the time out there on the water, and you're right about taking the good with the bad.
