Catch and release snook fishing has begun in the inlet. Several reports of snook and big snook had my phone a buss this morning. Bubba Hamilton caught a 40 inch snook at the south jetty to start the evening action last night. Kadri and some of his friends caught several nice snook and a 50# tarpon last night live baiting around the inlet and bridges on the in coming tide. Captain Brian of Gringo Charters also caught a "bucket mouth" last night. He said the fish was short and FAT weighing in around 22#. The offshore reports have been slim. I really haven't heard a peep from anyone who has fished offshore in several days. We have a big Kingfish tourney here this weekend , so I hope there are some fish around and everyone is just being tight lipped. Good Luck, Geoff P.S. Stop by to take a look in our new sale bin! I'm adding stuff to it every day and there are some real bargains! White's Tackle Fort Pierce, Florida www.whitestackle.com |
