Still nothing from offshore. I'm sure someone had to have made it yesterday but I haven't heard anything. Well, for the next few days it looks plenty wet and plenty rough. Hopefully we will get a break after this system pushes through. Sword-fishing should start getting pretty hot this month through the remainder of the summer. I looked at my log yesterday and we caught a lot of fish about this time last year. I can only imagine the other side is going off right now. I spoke with some friends in the Abaco's who reported insane dolphin fishing everyday and several shots at blue and white marlin. Inshore, has been extremely productive the last few days. To the North the fishing has been strong with snook, trout, redfish, jacks, etc. There are also some small tarpon making their annual debut in the local spots. Sebille stick shads in black and gold have been working great as well as D.O.A. Cal baits on 1/8 oz. jig heads. The river fishing should remain good for a while now that we are entering a summer pattern and I would look for a great snook bite as soon as the rain passes. Have a great day! -Scott White's Tackle Fort Pierce, Florida www.whitestackle.com |
