Weird Fish Washes Ashore at New Smyrna Beach
VOLUSIA COUNTY --
Volusia County Beach Patrol officers found a giant Sunfish washed ashore near the Hiles ramp in New Smyrna Beach, Monday.
Officers say the fish, which weighed about 400 pounds, was barely alive when they found it and died shortly afterwards.
According to officers, this is the second Sunfish that washed ashore in Volusia County this month.
