Fishing in late August

We had a good day fishing last Wednesday, just John and his girlfrined to catch the ten King Mackerel themselves. Seas were averaging 2 to 3 feet and the fish were biting good for a half day trip.

Out of Ft. Lauderdale, we can venture offshore and target Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo. Whenever we fish offshore we need to invest some time there to ensure that time is spent offshore looking for birds, floating debris, weed lines, etc.

Whenever deep sea fishing in 100' to 150' feet of water, we have structure to fish as well as reef line. The structure consists of of sunken ships which hold bait and fish.
