Three First Sailfish Release on "Top Gun" In Miami

Being a Miami Fishing Charter Captain has many rewards but it is hard to beat seeing someone catch their first Sailfish. Well, imagine if you had three boys on one trip all doing just that.

I guess our customer Kathryn said it best:

From Kathryn: To Nel and AJ and Mario- You guys were fantastic. Wes and Juan and Gabriel will never forget their amazing day with you all and of course their first sails. Don't know how you managed to pull off one each for each kid plus some delish Yellow Jack and King for mom and Maya (grandma) AND beautiful weather.

It was the perfect Day for me too!

Flat calm seas and beautiful skies. Not exactly sailfish weather but we put out the flatlines and slow trolled Treadfin Herring along Triumph reef. The bites were slow to come but the beautiflul weather made up for it.

They were all singles which let us give each angler the attention they deserved. The 20 pound spinners allowed each of the 12 and 13 year old to fight their fish extemely well.
