Well it wasn't something that I planned on doing, but I was down in Tampa for business and decided to sneak out for an afternoon to see what the Tampa Bay skinny water had going this time of year.
I did a quick search on the site here, and came up with a phone number for site member Reel Fishy, a local to the bay area. A quick call and he had pointed me in the direction of Captain Jim Lenke of Light Tackle Adventures (lighttackleadventures.com 813.917.4989).
Me and a buddy from work met Jim the next day at the ramp, and we headed out in search of anything. After castnetting a livewell full of pilchards, we were off to work the mangroves and oyster bars in the area.
Captain Jim bounced us around from area to area in search of some good fishing, and man did he produce- by the end of the day Taylor had got himslef a Tampa Bay inshore slam (redfish, trout, and snook), and I had taken my first, second, third, fourth, and fifth snook of my lifetime.
We had a steady mix of snook and trout all afternoon, but in the end I came a redfish short of a slam myslef. I guess I'll have to get back down there to make it happen.
Many thanks to site member Reel Fishy for pointing us in Jim's direction, and thanks to Jim and mate Steve for putting us on the fish. If anyone is down in the Tampa area, make sure to call Jim as there are tons of guides in the area(over 260), but few pros.

P.S. Sorry for the pics, I could only find a disposable camera as I wasn't planning on going fishing, and had to PDF them.
