Well Sunday morning, the wind was supposed to be down with 1' chop on Tampa Bay, so I put in at DeSoto Park and found 1 to 2's on the bay. I tried to get comfortable in my 21' Bay boat out with the bigger boats, but finally retreated to some of the more protected flats as the tide was coming in high at 10:40. Fish turned on, I used Mirro Lure Miro Dean and their speckled trout plug (not sure of the correct name sorry), but the trout slammed them. I caught 23 total along with the usual trash fish, kept my limit and was off the water by noon as the bay was calming down. Nice day on the water though.
