Saturday morning ... 5:15 am ... and we're getting ready to head-out to Blowing Rocks Preserve, where the snook bite is still on. FYI: park at Coral Cove Park, hit the beach, and head North (appx 1/4 mile) until you see the rocks. Ditto for Seminole Point. Park at Kagen Park, hit the beach, and head South (appx. 1/3rd mile) until you see Seminole Golf course. Rock formations are the key, as they tend to hold snook waiting in ambush for bait. One negative: the bluefish and jacks have joined in, although they are more prone to top water baits. For snook, you have to get below the surface with something that won't snag on the rocks. If you're a "spoon" junkie, swap-out the treble hook for a circle hook, let it sink, and bounce it off the rocks. Otherwise, a modified twitch bait like a Crystal Minnow is lighting-up the snook! Enjoy ...
