Captain Dennis Forgione, of Free Spool Charters out of Haulover Marina, reported excellent Spanish mackerel action in 20 to 40 feet of water. Forgione suggests live chumming with pilchards to get the fish behind the boat and then casting silver spoons to get the mackerel.
