Snookin for love Under The Bridge

When I first started catching snook on st. Maarten, an island in the Caribbean, I was amazed at their size because coming from the Northeast I had never fished them before.

Being an avid Striper fisherman from Long Island I quickly fell in love with snook because they were stripers on steroids.

I started watching ESPN2 and paying notice to the segments on snook. That's when I realized how fortunate I am to live on St. Maarten. The avaerage snook that I and my clients caught last year alone was about 17# with the largest ones close to 30. Did I mention this is all from shore. So although I have respect for the snook in the video it would take alot more to impress me.
