Greeting once again from The Florida Keys, Islamorada and Key largo, also known as the "Sportfishing Capital of the World".
Well the weather is warm and the fishing is red hot!! Checking with some of my Offshore deep sea dock mates I'm told of catches of tuna and there are still some nice racks of dolphin hanging at the docks too. In the backcountry the Snook are starting to show up and there are good bites of Redfish on the out going tides and the old stand by Spotted sea trout. For the angler that wants something a little bigger, we have Been catching big Sharks!! Lemons, bulls and spinner sharks, some up to 9 feet!!
On the flats my son Capt Donnie Benbow has been doing a solid job on the bonefish.
