    Sebastian Inlet Fishing report 12-4

12-03-10 FRIDAY: EVEN IN ROUGH WATERS, THE FISH ARE BITING!

    Good morning Anglers-TGIF!

Beautiful and sunny this morning at the Inlet, but the water is still very rough due to the winds. However, yesterday die-hard anglers brought in several Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder, and some huge Redfish!

Today's photo was sent in by JT Krame. He caught this big oversized Redfish at 11am yesterday morning on live shrimp. JT said that he fought the fish for almost 20 minutes! Great catch...

There are many fishing spots at the Inlet besides fishing from the jetties. The State Park itself is very beautiful with many areas to bring your family and friends. Here at the Sebastian Inlet District office, we rely on the anglers at the Inlet to send in photos, updates, and their personal fishing experiences to share with all of our website followers. Thank you to all of you who take the time for a snapshot and send it in with your story!

Have a great fishing weekend everyone!

12-02-10 THURSDAY: INLET WATERS ARE ROUGH TODAY, BUT THE FISH ARE OUT THERE!

    Hello Anglers!

It is beautiful this morning at the Inlet, but the water is very rough which usually keeps the fishing to a minimum. The fish are out there, though. Although it is chilly outside, a few anglers have been catching more of the Black Drum and Pompano.

For those of you reading this report that are not familiar with the Inlet, there is the Inlet Bait & Tackle Shop located on the North side entrance of the Inlet. The hours are 7:30am to 5pm seven days a week. The Bait shop carries live bait such as shrimp, clams, and pinfish. They also carry a full line of frozen bait. Ask for Tommy or Walton-they are great guys!

Today's terrific photo was sent in by Shawn Townsend from Vero Beach. He caught these two Flounder on live shrimp off the rocks on the south side of the Inlet, west of the catwalk. That is a Sweeeet catch, Shawn! Thank you for your photo and report.Sebastian Inlet Fishing report 11-30-3.jpg
