ROLL CALL

OK, The South Florida Lunker Report is a new forum and we want to know who we have out there fishing. So this thread is to announce who you are, where you live, what you fish for, and anything we may need to know about you. Please provide a photo if possible. I'll start.

I'm Scott Big BURSAMAN Bursa

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale.

Grew up catchin' Lunker trapon in the New River and Port Everglades.

My fish of choice to target now, nothing but the best, Marlin & Bones.

I get to the Keys and Bahamas every chance I get, and of course central America.

Never seen snow.(I know that's gotta kill some of you already snowed in up north). I like it hot. Don't make me get Geographical on you.

And I will get a Lunker all in your face!

BURSAMAN

I'm a big mullet man, I've never caught anything on a lure. Im here, thanks for the Roll Call Bursaman. Lets all get 50 jumping jacks, I'll start it off right after this lunker.

Harold from Tampa

Hey all. I grew up in Baltimore but moved to Tampa 10 years ago. I fish for tarpon like crazy. I also fish for snook. I started fishing in saltwater and never looked back. I do not get to fish down south much. Maybe once a year. I go to Boca Grande every year as well. I can help on the forum with questions and post some of my reports in case you guys ever make it to Tampa. I will be posting some great photos and video. This is one of my favorites. I took this next to the Gandy bridge. Notice the sardine flying out of his mouth. I have many more pics if anyone wants to see them. Thanks.

My name is Logan,

I run a boat out of Ft. Myers beach.

Grew up fishing in Bradenton and traveling FL and the Bahamas fishing sailfish and TDW tourneys.

Since I am over here on the west coast, I mostly do grouper fishing and I hit the tarpon when they are running. However, I love to troll when I can make it to the east coast.

Tarponator

Where do I start, My name is Tarponator from miami, Born and raised catching snook since I was on my BMX in the local canals around my house. When I was 16 I got my first boat and it was on ever since. I love fishing for pretty much anything that I can hunt with lures or with live bait but I really love Snook & Tarpon at night, Bonefish & Permit during the day.

Catching lunkers in peoples faces since 1974.
I do not have a favorite fish, but my favorite fishing is to target a particular species and Lunkers at that.

FL Hey fishing FREAKS!

Really glad to be part of the SOUTH FLORIDA LUNKER REPORT!!!!!!!

FreshWaterRob Here. You know my story by my name. Been fishing freshwater since like 18 months old. I've had to catch 10,000 large mouth Bass or caught the same Bass 10,000 times. Didn't matter anyway. Gimme a lifejacket and see you after dark. Since meeting Capt. Jeff, he's trying to convert me over from fresh to salt. And lets just say, the more you want something the harder it seems to be. It can get stressful after you've completely blown 7+ tarpons in the 70 to 180lbs range. Then you realize, its not all about the fish!
