November 15, 2010 - Fishing Report
Sailfish season is here! It's been an excellent bite all week with many boats catching two more sailfish on full day trips. They are being caught both on the troll and in the shallow water swimming on the sand and showering ballyhoo. Tuna fishing on the hump is still good but the size is not as big as it was a couple of weeks ago. Live bait is really the way to go if you want to do the tuna. There have been some dolphin caught almost every day by the boats that are sailfishing. Mutton snapper are being caught while sailfishing by putting a ballyhoo down on the bottom. On the reefs the there are kingfish with some consistency and the yellowtail snapper are still providing steady action.
