December 18, 2011 - Fishing Report
Sailfishing is very good right now and it should continue through at least January. Jason Heath and friends recently caught and released 6 six sailfish on their first first trip ever for sails. The kingfish bite has gotten to be good and we are catching some cobia on the bottom but most are undersized. On the wrecks there are some big groupers being caught. Yellowtail snapper are biting well on days when the current is running. Dolphin fishing is spotty but they are nice fish when they are found. Blackfin tuna are biting on the Hump most days. Live pilchards will get the larger fish there.
