I cannot stress enough about the importance of fishing in the morning and dusk hours. It can make or break your day. When you are fishing in the 100 degree heat index and your thinking "IT IS HOT". The fish are sharing a similar thought.

Ive been hitting my spots that have alot of bait fish and it has been paying off. The baitfish will school by shore and the larger fish will group up and attack. Canal fishing has been caca lately for me. Success has been in lakes particularly ledges/drop offs and edges of grass. The fish do not like the sun at all now.

The use of realistic lures is key as well. People say "right place right time" ha ha. It is true but there is another factor called having the right lure. My friend and i experimented. He used the lure we both use and I used a similar lure with unrealistic colors. The result: In 4 days he caught 23 fish and I caught 4. So it does make a difference.

Hit the lakes
Hit the ledges
Use realistic colored lures
and fish at dawn and dusk!

Ive had a few users message me asking for spots. Im not familiar with miami except for one canal that is loaded. I will give you information relating to broward as long as you dont ask me to fish with you. I am not going to give away my sick spots. Sorry. I get followed enough by my psychotic neighbors. But I will give you locations of productive spots that on a 1-10 scale an 8 or 9 at times.
