Bar none, they are the toughest fighting fish in fresh water.It has really developed into an awsome fishery in South Florida..they were just becoming well estableshed when I moved fifteen years a go..used to borrow dad's rod's everytime I visited to go after them...the male fish get a large hump on their back once they get a couple years old...extremely aggressive fish

i live in southern california, how far would i have to go to get some of those
i saw those on some fishing show, and man are they wild!!!

any near by "transplants"

the biggest bass i ever cought was about 3 and half pounds and was a lot bigger than any catfish i ever got at that lake
