Me and my dad headed out of panama city about 8 sunday morning going for some kings.Storms were supposed to be in that afternoon. We set the first trolling line out around 8:20. The seas were pretty high so we stayed in between the 3rd and 4th (whistle buoy) buoy out of the st. andrew pass. We were using a duster rig with dead cigar minnows on top of the water. There were several boats trolling and nobody was catching anything. We had a hit about 10 minutes after starting and it quickly popped off (first time using a duster). After that we had hits after hits! Nothing landed!! When we finally decided to put a weight on We got hit by a fuious thunderstorm. (not so good in a 20" cc) We decided to go in the bay and do some BF. We caught a couple of small fish. We saw a couple of trout and redfish. After 2 hours of a boat ride we headed on in.Even though the day was a bust flipper playing with the boat made it wearthwhile. Todays catch 2 remoras,5-10 ?? lol.
