Fort Lauderdale Fishing/ Tuna/ Shark

Marlin My Darlin Fishing Report, Fort Lauderdale, 9-01-10-1.jpg

Fort Lauderdale’s deep sea fishing is still going strong. We are catching some nice Tunas and loads of Bonitos just off the edge of the outside reef. Pictured are Andrew, a nice Blackfin Tuna and a couple of happy young ones belonging to the Montaneros who booked a half day to try their luck. We are also seeing more large Sharks as our Ft Lauderdale fishing areas are attracting more and more Tuna and Bonitos. We saw a really nice Hammerhead Shark up on the surface in the area of the Bonitos. Now is a great time to get the kids loaded up and offshore for some deep sea fishing as there is a lot of action right now. Still large numbers of Turtles here as we near the end of their egg laying season. Loggerheads, Greens, Hawksbills and an occasional Leatherback are on the reefs.

Seeing good bunches of Porpoises also as they move to the south and the kids love them.

A fishing charter in Ft Lauderdale with the family has a lot more to offer than just fishing right now, and the fishing is good.
